Fall Flavours Are Calling: Vote for Oakville’s Best Fall Treat

OAKVILLE – Fall is just around the corner, and Visit Oakville is inviting you to vote for its new Talk of the Town Award for Best Fall Treat from September 11 – 17! From a warm, freshly baked favourite, a seasonal drink, a delicious dessert, or a limited-time autumn creation, we want to know which local treat you think is the very best in Oakville.

There’s something about fall in Oakville that makes a sweet treat taste event better. Think warm, freshly baked goodies, apple-inspired creations, pumpkin spice everything, decadent pastries, cozy cafe finds and those irresistible seasonal treats you simply have to try. From longtime favourites to delicious new discoveries, Oakville has plenty of ways to satisfy your autumn cravings and now we want to know which one deserves to be crowned.

The process is easy! Type in the name of a local business and tell us which of their fall treats you think deserves the award. The treat with the most votes wins! Vote here.

Visit Oakville will announce the winner and runners-up on social media the following week. Winners will be featured in Visit Oakville’s monthly newsletter, presented with a window decal, and given a free promotional video so that everyone knows which local fall treat is the Talk of the Town.

Participants can let everyone know who they voted for by using the #TOTT hashtag.

3. Use the hashtag #TOTT and tag Visit Oakville in your posts so we can help spread the word.
4. Post throughout the voting period to keep your audience engaged and remind your customers to cast their vote.
5. Show off your fall treat! Share photos and videos that capture what makes your seasonal offering a must-try in Oakville.
